In overlap you are to far from the post, especially in us, try to just leave the skate from the post and that’s enough. You’ll be closer to the rebound as for the possible pass across.

I know that coach didn’t wait for you but you have to play the puck from the beginning till the end in the practice too. If you have a tactical team exercice try to make doublecheck and you know better where the players are.

Improve your follow-through, in other words, aim with your tip of the blade at the space where you want to shoot.
